Nepal fan went crazy for the wicket celebration during NEP vs BAN clash

Cricket is celebrated like a festival all over the world and fans come in large numbers to the stadium to support their favorite players and teams. Fans in the stadium always try every possible way to get the attention of their idols by dancing, singing, or passing funny pickup lines.

Such a funny incident happened in the 37^th match of the T20 World Cup 2024 which was played between Bangladesh and Nepal at the Arnos Vale Stadium. Nepal fans are very passionate and always full of excitement in supporting their team.

FAN JUMPS INTO THE POOL TO CELEBRATE THE WICKET!

A Nepal fan jumped into the pool with the country’s flag to celebrate the wicket of the opposition team. This incident occurred in the 5^th over of the game when Nepal's captain took the wicket of Bangladesh’s Towhid Hridoy for 9 runs.

The ICC shared this viral video of the fan on their Instagram handle which shows his craze for the game. The celebration of the fan caught everyone's attention. The fan jumped into the pool with the national flag.

BANGLADESH INTO THE SUPER 8s

Bangladesh secured a 21-run win over Nepal, securing their place in the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024 and finished second in the points table. Bangladesh put up a score of 106 in 19.3 overs, they didn’t perform well with the bat but their bowling was on top. Tanzim Hasan Sakib played an outstanding spell with the ball by giving just 7 runs in 4 overs and taking 4 wickets. For this outstanding performance, he was named the Player of the Match.

Bangladesh will now be clashing with Australia on June 21, with India on June 22, and with Afghanistan on June 25 in the Super 8s of the T20 World Cup 2024.
