May 9, 2024 at 7:42 AMAfter the match with Sunrisers Hyderabad, LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka was spotted speaking angrily with skipper KL Rahul. Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Lucknow Super Giants by 10 wickets, climbing up to third position in the points table.
Lucknow Super Giants’ bowling was completely destroyed by Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening pair Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. After that, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was seen chatting with head coach Justin Langer and skipper KL Rahul. LSG's score of 165/4 was beaten in less than ten overs. In their conversation, Goenka appeared furious while Rahul, the Indian international player appeared helpless. Social media was on fire as soon as the video went viral, with many arguing that Goenka was incorrect to speak in public following the defeat when the cameras were focused on them. The same was mentioned by the commentators and experts, who said that these discussions need to take place in private. Overall, it's not a very enjoyable thing to watch, and social media users quickly pointed out that Goenka did not act appropriately with the LSG skipper.
LSG’s skipper doesn’t have anything to say, according to him the kind of batting done by SRH batters was seen on TV, that was unbelievable and he appreciates them for their abilities. They got going from the very first ball and it was difficult for LSG to stop them.
KL Rahul said, “I am at a loss for words. We have watched that kind of batting on TV. But this is unreal batting. Everything seemed to find the middle of the bat. Kudos to their skills. They have worked hard on their six-hitting skills. They didn’t give us a chance to know what the pitch was in the second innings. It was hard to stop them as they teed off from ball one.”
Rahul linked the loss to their weak powerplay performance, in which they managed just 27 runs at the expense of two wickets.
